As I prepare for my afternoon tasks, I notice that the gym is starting to pay off. Kudos to my trainer Leeza who rocks. That being said here’s a healthy lunch idea that you might to enjoy with a bottle of water or green tea. By the way its light, healthy and affordable. Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

  1. (2) Slices Multi Grain Bread – 12-Grain or 15-Grain works too
  2. (6) Slices Honey Turkey – You can get this at your local deli counter
  3. (4) Slices Fresh Avocado – Super Good Stuff!
  4. (2) Slices Boston Lettuce
  5. (2) Slices of Fresh Tomato
  6. (2) Slices Aged Cheddar
  7. (1) Table Spoon Honey Mustard
  8. (*) Salt & Pepper Optional
  9. (1) Paper Plate
  10. (3) Napkins – Honey Mustard Sometimes Drips

Ok now that we have what we need here’s how we put this killer sandwich together. By the way your mouth should have started to water already, but if it hasn’t I promise the flavor sensation will be well worth it when you bite in.

  1. Place the Multi Grain slices of bread on the plate next to one another.
  2. Take a butter knife and gently spread the Honey Mustard on both top sides of the bread.
  3. On the left side lay the Lettuce slices on first, then the Tomato.
  4. One the right side layer the Aged Cheddar slices then the Avocado, then the Turkey Slices.
  5. You should Fold the Turkey slices in Half when placing them on the Bread.
  6. Add some salt and pepper on the Turkey if you’d like for extra Flavor.
  7. Take the left side of the Sandwich and Place it Lettuce Side Down on the Turkey.
  8. Cut Your Sandwich in Half Diagonally.

So Let’s Say Yesterday Your Son or Daughter Came Home With An “A” On His or Her Spelling Test or History Exam. You Want To Reward Them With Something Fun, Cool And We’ll Healthy At The Same Time. Here’s A New Twist On An Old Classic. We All Love Peanut Butter, Don’t We? Go To Your Pantry Because Your Going To Need The Following Ingridients:

  1. 1 Jar of Peanut Butter
  2. 2 Slices of White Bread
  3. 1/4 cup Choclate Chips
  4. 1/2 Banana – Sliced
  5. 1 Celery Stalk (ends reduced & then halved)
  6. 1 Glass of ICE COLD (Whole Milk)
  7. 1 medium sized plate
  8. 1 Tablespoon (Tbs)
  9. 1 Butter Knife

Step 1: First lay out the 2 pieces of White Bread, then spread some peanut butter of the top side of each piece, sprinkle the choclate chips on both pieces, place about 3 or 4 banana slices, close sandwich, then halve diagonally.

Step 2: Take your celery stalksand slice them vertically so you have about six (6) to eight(8) long pieces. Take  a healthy Tbs of Peanut Butter and dollup it right in the middle of your plate. Place each stalk vertically in the Peanut Butter and place each Diagonally cut sandwich half on the sides of the Peanut Butter mound.

Step 3: Serve along side an ICE COLD glass of milk.
